5 Things You Must Know About The Breath Strip
The very first time I tried a breath strip was when I was working in a grocery store. I needed a part time job to tide me over until after we had our wedding and I had time to look for a secure and promising full time job in my chosen field. I was a cashier, and when things were slow, we were to stand at the end of our aisle to let customers know that the lane was open and they could go right though. On one of these slow days there was someone in the store giving out samples. She came over to me and asked me if I would like to try a breath strip.
I had never heard of a breath strip, and I am pretty sure they were new when this happened. The girl next to me took one, so I decided that I might as well try it too. The lady told us to take the breath strip and to lay it on our tongues. She said it would melt and freshen our breath. What I wasn’t ready for was the strong kick it gave my tongue, and I thought my mouth was going to burst. After the initial kick, however, I found that it was a very neat sensation, and my breath was, as promised, very fresh.
Since then, the breath strip as soared in popularity, and many companies make them. They come in all kinds of flavors. I don’t usually use them because I like the whitening gum, but they do come in handy when you need something on a moments notice. The breath strip comes in a handy little plastic container that fits anywhere you need it to go. You can put it in your jeans pocket and you will never know it’s there because it is so small.
I have noticed though, that there is a risk for hiccups with the breath strip. Most adults are fine, but you might not want to give one to a four year old. I gave my daughter a breath strip one day because she saw them in my purse and wouldn’t stop pestering me about them. I though by giving her one she would feel the kick on her tongue and she would never ask for another. What happened was something else entirely. When the breath strip hit her tongue the sensation caused her to breath in very deeply and erratically, and she ended up with the hiccups.
