Where To Find The Best Alternative Cures
Having family members in the medical field has opened up a variety of conversations regarding alternative cures for ailments. Most are doctors or nurses, and opinions on alternative cures range widely from full belief in these methods to complete and utter disbelief.
The doctors in the family firmly believe that alternative cures are an ineffective way of treating any disease, but are open to their patients trying out whichever method they are most comfortable with. Being doctors, they of course say that they would very strongly recommend conventional and proven methods of fighting any disease before outwardly condoning such practices. But, when it comes down to chronic diseases that may or may not have a proven cure such as cancer or multiple sclerosis, the doctors both agree that the patients may receive some piece of mind by finding some alternative treatments and possibly alternative cures. While they would never suggest completely stopping the conventional treatments to start an alternative treatment, both agree that it may help the patient’s outlook on their overall treatment if they have some control over their medical decisions. The doctors explicitly say that they do not believe that there are any alternative cures in existence out there, but they would not argue against a patient trying to find one.
On the other hand, the three nurses seem in agreement that they have come in contact with people that have found alternative cures. While they also agree that the conventional tested methods always produce the best results on most patients, the nurses conclude that they have seen where alternative treatments have helped certain patients that were deemed terminal and beyond help with conventional medicine, and some have found some alternative cures. Most of the nurses’ evidence is based on personal examples and not medical studies, but they all swear that they have witnessed patients make complete turnarounds by using alternative medicine.
In conclusion, one should obviously make the decision for themselves regarding the use of alternative medicine in search of alternative cures in their treatment plan. If it is decided that pursuing an alternative cure is worthwhile, then be sure to find doctors that condone the decision. Some doctors still are completely against the practice, so it is important to find a doctor that agrees with your ability to make decisions regarding your medical care. Since there are no studies proving the likelihood of finding alternative cures, it most certainly is not a “wrong” way to treat disease.
